I'm not confused, I just have no idea what I'm doing
Ok, so the word mundane is a good word, I still kind of hate it. Mundane means boring. I have lived my entire life in an effort to never ever be bored. I just don't really know what direction to take my project. I want it to be an extension of me: "A Day in the Life of Carla". What the heck does that even mean? I love my life. I don't want to show people pictures of me pretending it's boring. It's great! I love everything that I do. So, yeah. That's what's going on with my project.

Field of Dreams
Not to brag or anything, but I love this photograph. I know I took it and everything but there is something about it that draws me in. I don't know if it is just the contrast of the colors or it is how small Steve looks in the field, or if it just brings back memories from a fun time camping, but I love it.
I think the studium would be Steve in the middle of the field with the dog. There are so many questions that can be asked from this: what is he doing there? is he posing? he seems to be almost looking or waiting for the dog; were they going somewhere?
The punctum on the other hand would most likely be the colors. I think without Steve in the photo it would still be an interesting shot. If you put your thumb over him you can still enjoy how the field, lake, trees, and sky have distinct lines and the whole photo follows the rule of threes. The clouds are still captivating; they almost look like they spell something out.
But who knows? I feel kind of silly analyzing why I like the photo. I guess I just do.
Wes Anderson vs. The Sky
Ok for starters, both posts are great. Maybe it's just because I'm a huge (read: huuuuge) Wes Anderson fan but the first post draws me in a lot more. Well to be perfectly honest I should say that the blue sky post took me about 6 or 7 times before I could read it all the way through. Yeah, the Anderson post is longer but I don't know. Maybe it was just something about the graph at the top that just made me go zzzzzz.
I mean, don't get me wrong, the second post was nice and everything, it just wasn't what I would expected. It just doesn't flow. It sounds like something you would read on any syllabus in any class. I don't know, I could be wrong. I'm probably just biased. I mean, look at this guy, how could you not love his work?? He's even wearing the colors from the palette!
